Internet Reit speaks out on Verisign/ICANN agreement

Another voice has been added to the complaints against the proposed Verisign/ICANN agreement. Internet REIT issued a statement today before the Committee On Small Business of The United States House of Representatives. The gist of the Congressional Testimony is that Internet REIT considers the agreement unfair to them and other “small business owners” because it increases cost and supports an existing structure without opening the door to possible alternatives.

This statement also mentions the “Internet Traffic Association (ITA)”, an organization that I have not heard of before. Unfortunately I was not able to find any information on it’s members either, so I have asked the person who notified me of the press release on behalf of Internet REIT for further information.

Also registered today: InternetTrafficAssociation.com. From what it seems, the registration was not processed by Internet REIT unless they are linked to CyberCapitol.
