So VeriSign seeks advice on controversial new service. Isn’t this something they should have really done well in advance? In any case, I am pretty sure that we are going to have to wait a while for the newly formed committee to come up with a suggestion. So this might just be a matter of delaying things to at least get some additional incomie from this “feature”.

As an addition to the lawsuit(s?) ICANN issued an Advisory Concerning VeriSign’s Deployment of DNS Wildcard Service calling “upon VeriSign to voluntarily suspend the service until the various reviews now underway are completed"e;. I’d say that for ICANN, this is already a bit step, so let’s see what happens.
